I have never seen a modder, who promised to finish a huge or technically complex project. If someone does so, he has to much free time (though I would appreciate his endurance) or just a big mouth.

By the way, Thunderhawk published a new screenshot of his work. ;)

Hello everybody. :)

I want to know if GEngine will contain shading, AO , motion blur , bloom, or other effects.
GEngine does not support such rendering features and I don#msg1072027t know, if Kerrax will implement them (but that is very unlikely in my opinion). But there is a project, which aims to port Gothic 2 to D3D10. Don#msg1072027t miss the image at the end of the first post^^ it#msg1072027s the only one published in the thread. However, I#msg1072027va got an deeper insight of it and what I can say is, that Blinn–Phong shading, Screen space ambient occlusion, normal and specular mapping as well as Depth of field are already implemented.

And most important question for me, are you going to remodel everything?
Well, our first ten-mile stone is to finish the world itself. After that we will remodel the objects, which are placed in the world (VOBs and MOBs). Then.. well, we will see. We don#msg1072027t have plans about it, because this is months (or years?) ahead.
